Safety & FAQ

Safety in Case of Propane Leak:

If there is any question to your safety, please evacuate the affected area, call 911 to have the fire department dispatched to the location.

Inside your home?

If yes, we are requesting that you eliminate and prevent all sources of ignition, including, but not limited to, the use of matches, the operation of electrical switches, and to evacuate everyone from the structure and call back from a safe distance.

Once everyone is outside, unless the leak is at the tank, you should turn off the service valve on the supply tank immediately.

  1. Do you hear gas escaping?
  2. Do you smell gas throughout the building?
  3. Are all of the pilot lights lit?
  4. Has the furnace, stove, water heater, or other appliance been moved recently?
  5. Has the line been damaged?
  6. Do you have the smell of gas all of the time?
    1. If yes, how long have you smelled gas?
